+Cromwell is the result of a series of unethical experiments by Bunker Fortitude military researchers, splicing a human with Hive implants and technology. He has subsequently severed all ties with his bunker and operates solo. He seems to be waging a one-man war against any Hive or supermutants he encounters.\\

+He has on occasion fought alongside FEF personnel against a mutual foe. Caution is advised but he does on the face of it appear to be a valuable ally.\\

+Cromwell was asked to aid in Operation 22 acting as a drone relay/operator for the final mission after Fort Ned's drone relay had to be cannibalised to build the device that killed the Legion hive. At the end of the mission Cromwell expressed his wish to be left alone and is believed to have moved to a more distant location.
