Toxic Chemicals [[faction:supermutants|Supermutants]] have been known to use toxic substances on melee weapons, the FEF can access equipment that will do the same, and several different enemies have used gas grenades that spew poison. Gas masks can bypass some of this, cyberware exists that can help, and it's generally a good idea to not lick random stuff.
