Hive Vulcan
Below are the various known types of creature Hive Vulcan could deploy. Hive Vulcan is believed to now be completely destroyed.
| Node/Brain in a Jar | Living Hive Virus sustained by C7. It is believed the nodes give the orders and control the formation of Hive. Can interfere with Drone coverage. |
| Vulcan Commander | Have suits of armour that explode when destroyed. Lead the Hive in battle. Use heavy calibre weapons. Tacticans. |
| Scythe | Elite troops, heavier weapons, have cognitive ability to use tactics. Some had gold helmets |
| Shroud | Radiation rounds in weapons, uses recon and hunter tactics. Will withdraw to get a better angle of attack. |
| Collector | Modified to see electrical waves, increased load carrying abilities, collects salvage of any variety to be used by the Hive |
| Shaper | Hive Healer, can be distinguished by an injection node on the arm, a series of wires connected to two large prongs extended from the back of the hand. |
| Golems | Basic troops, set patrol patterns, no thinking abilities, will not withdraw from a fight |
Vulcan Birthing Chambers
These are the way that the Hive make new Vulcans. They appear like a gateway that has technological devices attached to them. Any found must be destroyed to stop the creation of new Vulcans.
Hive Infection Bullets
Certain Hive have the ability to infect at range through infection bullets. (usually they have to touch you). You have 30 seconds to get to the person inflicted once they are downed before they start to convert. Conversion can be stopped and reversed by a quick Cleanse patch.
Nano Pox
Small pox and Hive virus combined to give you the flu and then convert you to Hive over a couple of weeks. First encountered in 2523, and cured by bunker doctors. Cure distributed to UC citizens.
